In the lead up to World Antibiotic Awareness Week, Queensland Genomics hosted a Microbial & Infection Control Genomics Workshop in November 2019.
The workshop demonstrated the potential of microbial genomics and how to apply it to hospital outbreaks and infection control management.
Queensland Genomics received a lot of interest in the 1 day workshop, which was attended by infection control practitioners and nurses, microbiologists, scientists and clinical researchers.
